No. This is a good rule. I am pissed off when seeing some of the ducks with new names which they use to change their name frequently (like Josh).... It is better off to ask the leader for permission before changing the name.

I think its a bit harsh but for example everyone knew I was Hippo, I told no one and few asked me who I was.

I agree, some guys changed there name far too often and no one knows who they are.

I'm sure there can be some compromise to this but I don't intend to change my name :p

It's not at all harsh, something needs to be done, i see it too often to let it go, we were allowing freedom to change your nick we didn't wanted to be assholes but you crossed the line, no it's not harsh and will not be changed.

A serious guy and not some yolo can get permission to change his nick, but changing your nick without permission is punishable

Icey, some are just not comfortable on what their nick is.. so dont make a rule about no changing niks.. it a little too harsh bro..
you can just tell them(us) to ask permission first, before changing.. if you dont agree.. then he can't change his name..

How about a name change limit, 1 name change per 6 months or so with Leaders decision.

I know it is annoying when players CONSTANTLY change their name but surely members should have the right to change there name.
